In my opinion, every society needs some type of order and along with order there is control. Without order and control people would do as they please and will cause harm to others. I agree that we need social order to a certain extent to keep society running smoothly. But I don’t agree in the control of surveillance of camera at work, tracking a person’s whereabouts by using records from credit card, ATM machines or surveillance cameras, because that is intruding into one’s personal privacy and that right is taken away from us. The reading of credit card purchases through the internet, storing private information in large databases such as credit bureaus, banks and marketing companies can contribute to identity theft. Long before computers and other advance technology arrived; identity theft was not a big issue. Our country is not the best country in the world, but American citizens who live in the U.S like to believe we do. When someone talks trash about U.S, the American people will stand up for their country. The United States is a great country, in my opinion because the country where I came from is ruled by Anarchy and the people are living in poverty. I am considered to be low class in America, but when I look at my family in Cambodia they are living in poverty. The country has no jobs, healthcare or agencies that will help the needy when they are in need of assistance. America might not be the best place in the world, but it is better than some other countries.
