Some people may not think that America is the best place to live, and it may not be. But I am glad to live in America, then in countries where women are used for sex slaves, tortured, abused, and disrespected. American women may not be treated equally such as getting equal pay, sex discrimination and viewed to be inferior in society; but these things are not visible to the conscious mind. We may not be physically abuse by men, but unconsciously they try. We have strong American women who fought for our voices to be heard and our rights to be treated equally. The women in our past who fought for us have been threaten, beaten and killed so that women in present day can have the freedom and rights that we do.
Some countries view women as inferior and have no purpose in life except to be slaves, sex slaves, and bare children. Like China, they kill off female babies if they are first born, because they believe that it is more honorable to have a son as first born or only sons so they can carry their father’s last name. I don’t understand why a man’s last name is so power that it can control parents to kill of their baby girls. Also China is over populated mainly of men, but Chinese citizens are only allowed to have two children per household. The article I had read said, that parents throw their murdered baby girls into the dumpster, streets, garbage and curb. Since when did human beings become so evil and heartless to kill their babies, another living and breathing human being?
